Not often you see an all original Red Radarscope as few were made and most that were were converted...
This game caused Nintendo of America to panic and in turn Nintendo of Japan hired Shigeru Miyamoto who came up with the gem Donkey Kong to replace it. Donkey Kong changed Nintendo and video games forever.
Here is the CP before I cleaned it, the CP removed and cleaned, the back and a close-up of the unique joystick mechanism.
Close-up of the Instructions, upper front (before cleaning), lower front and the guts. Most noteworthy is the monitor cage made of wood. I am pretty sure all Radarscopes were like this and probably the early converted red Donkey Kongs. Not sure when it switch to the more familiar metal frame but this should be a way to tell if your Red Donkey Kong is really a Red Donkey Kong...
In case you couldn't figure hoe to sign your initials, bezel, more guts and serial plate. In case you are wondering the correct Model Number for Radarscope is TRS-UP-US. Not exactly sure if they changed the serial plate when they converted to DK's or not...
This game had been sitting in a warehouse for a good 10+ years and you can see how dirty this is. Missing the joystick ball but otherwise complete and all original inside. Can't wait to get this home and work on it...Radarscope got a bad rap in my opinion and is a pretty fun game...
