Qix is one of the first Taito America games and might be the first one produced and released in Chicago as opposed older Taito's like Stratovox that were produced in Japan. To commemorate the new subsidiary, Taito games from '81-'83 were release in the smaller and striped cab all except for Zookeeper. Not all games produced in this style cab were developed in Chicago, some like Jungle King were developed in Japan and then released by Taito America.

The graphics are not much, basically lines, the Qix and Sparks. But the game is quite fun and challenging but the thing that really brings me back are the Taito sounds. Great stuff!

This cab is in awesome shape. The game isn't functioning yet, but the original Power Supply works fine so I need to find the time to trouble the boards...
