Berzerk was one of the first games with synthesized speech. I remember clearly having Stratovox in our arcade before we had Berzerk. I love two things about the cabinet. First is the cool side art of the robots which are painted, as was common in the early games. The 2nd is the monitor bezel. Check out the dude in the lower right screaming in fear as if he is running for his life from the hideous hoards of robots, never mind evil Otto. There are loads of speach in this game like: "Coin detected in pocket", "Get the humanoid" and "Chicken fight like robot". The mazes are plenty and there are never ending. You can shoot all robots except evil Otto, you must escape the maze if he comes out.

This game was an inspiration for one of my all time favorites, Robotron 2084.
